  1. Power did not seem to be a big edge when I was driving out in the aggressive group. The first time the only guy that passed me was the other Legacy out there and that was for safety (he was too crazy, not it a good way). He almost got our whole group black flagged. On the second time the WRX wagon was a really good driver other than that I think only one other car passed me. The brakes and tires "REALLY" help a lot mixed with my driving skillage...
  2. Oh man I could not stand to drive around on those for more than a couple of days around town. They are way loud. Good luck at the track Scotty. Drive in the aggressive group this time it is really fun. You can watch the more experienced drivers out there and follow their lines until you get yours dialed in. The more experienced drivers will have upgraded brakes as well.
  3. Wow that sucks. Did you make your Dad sign the paper that says you break it you buy it?
  4. Nah not doing the next one. Rent out your wheels? Why not just do the whole car then I can use up your brakes instead of mine. I am going to use XP10 or 12's next year. Not sure what vehicle I will have tho. Thinking about using the money from my Olds 442 sale to buy a car just for racing. I really want to do more road racing (open wheel class).
  5. I am done for the year. Man why could you have asked me that for the last one?!?! thanks tho. PS: I would feel uncomfortable borrowing something that expensive.
  6. For all of the track days I have done I have changed it before and right after with the exception of the last one which I will rectify next week.
  7. I changed mine before and will be changing it next week. I have hardly driven my car (only to work).
  8. I have not heard of the power steering bushings. Where did you source them from? thanks
  9. You just want to show off your new stuff..
  10. You looked good Scotty. Especially at the end when we were leaving.
  11. Most definitely! Meet tomorrow at 7:15am instead of 7:30?
  12. We will miss you. I will pick up your stuff next week.
  13. I plan on getting out there right when they open if not before. I can meet you somewhere along c470.
  14. The last time I was there for the Z-Car club run I used 1/2 tank.
  15. Here is a image for those that have never been there. http://www.verticaltier.com/gallery/d/2118-1/golden_track.jpg
  16. ^^^^ +1. They are noisy. I run XP8s all around for track day. I take the off right away. I would be very surprised to see someone in a beginner session burn through some XP10s in one track day unless their foot was resting on the brakes the whole run. My front XP8s have three track days on them and still have a lot of pad. But, you can never be too sure. I bring a back up set as well. BTW: Last week when I was up there a coyote was hit while trying to cross the track. Deer, and Elk are known to come out as well.
  17. If you go around to some of the construction sites and ask the foreman they will let you take wood out of the bins. Great firewood!
  18. I am going. I will be putting my race pads on before or that day. I will get the oil changed as well before the day. There is a sticky up top for this too.

  20. Looking for a shop that can put a WBO2 sensor bung in my DP. Close to the south side of town would be preferred. Anybody?
  21. Try: Spec Wheels (303)-853-9978 or http://trudesignwheel.net/ 303.422.5090
  22. +1 to Lee at Pristine Powder Coating. Great job on my FMIC pipes. He is a one man shop so he makes sure he does the job right the first time.
  23. Ted if you come I will bring the FMIC pipes I got back from the powder coater.
  24. Ted keeps the first posts up to date.
