  1. I just want to point out that this is on a 5th gen LGT, so things will likely be different on your wagon.
  2. A sleeved motor is overkill for 350, at least according to my wallet. I'm guessing sleeves would add about $1000 to the cost. That's roughly the cost of going closed deck for the sake of comparison. You'd be hard pressed to find anybody who would drop an additional grand on a motor when you're only making 350. I think even conservative builders would consider sleeves or closed deck not appropriate until you're at 450-500 on the low end.
  3. WC Lathewerks shift knob extension is a work of art! Looks much cleaner than the Subtle Solutions extension which doesn't attach at the boot. But that's an apples to oranges price comparison. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  4. I fit the AMS GR STI crash bar on mine. I opened up a couple of the bolt holes on the mounting plate of the bar to improve fitment. Only a tad, 1/8" at most.
  5. What intercooler core is that? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  6. Disappointed in Cerakote's 2000° Glacier Black. Installed two months ago! Had I known it would take months to find time to get all the power parts on I would have sent the header off to Swaintech instead of using a local coater. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  7. Resonator was removed today. Not a drastic difference but definitely noticeable. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  8. I'm guessing he used one of their firearm coatings. Do their firearm coatings have heat dissipating properties? I don't think they have anything other than their ceramic exhaust coatings for automotive applications. Not ideal for a charge pipe as it would insulate and keep heat trapped in.
  9. Glad this product is nearly finished. Good work Vince! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  10. I do like the bronze against the blue body. Kind of an understated version of the classic rally blue and gold look. I'm ok having the calipers mostly covered up. The whole idea behind the Baja is for it to look like an ordinary POS...unless you really look. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  11. I just talked to Vibrant and they recommended stepping down to the 1794 12" resonator. He said the race mufflers would not control drone at all; they have no packing just some stainless mesh to provide racers a solution if a track requires a "muffler". They are currently developing a new tunable resonator that they hope to release by the end of the year.
  12. Or maybe one of these in place of the resonator? http://vibrantperformance.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1527_1032_1257
  13. Exhaust is milder than expected. But when the wastegate cracks open . Pedestrians and bicyclists beware! It has an 18" Vibrant bottle style resonator. I wonder how much it would change going down to their 12" piece. I don't think losing the resonator all together is an option as I don't want any drone at highway cruising speeds. 5th gear cruising RPMs are 3.25-4k so maybe that would be out of intolerable drone range. I'll try to snap some pics of a few things later today.
  14. The tease continues... Hanger rods won't be here until Wednesday but it's all mocked up. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  15. Trust me I want it to be done too. Daily driving this thing is killing me. But you guys know how it is...always worth the wait once it's done right!
  16. My guy was slammed this week. Same for next week too. Shooting for week of April 3 now.
  17. Car/truck was on the lift yesterday to map out a custom exhaust. Should be on somewhere between March 24-28.
  18. Got all but the fuel pump done today. Should have a custom catback done within a week.
