  1. Yes, you can spend about $150 and have the trans mount, rear diff inserts KDT903, and trans crossmember bushings. I would advise not getting the KDT903 and getting KDT905 and KDT906. For KDT905 you'll have to get somebody with a hydraulic press to press out the stock bushings which are enclosed with a metal sleeve. You can press the new bushings in easily by hand. I'm having the KDT906 installed next week. For that you have to drop the rear diff and remove the rear subframe to press out the stock bushings. That was not something I was willing to do myself with the car on jack stands. As much as it pains me to pay for labor, I won't mind it one bit on this part. I'll post my thoughts on the firmness of the rear end next Friday. Solid bushings vs. inserts. I'm hoping solid bushings dominate!
  2. If you can turn a ratchet you can install the trans and rear diff bushings. There are instructions for all of them online as well. I still am not satisfied with the firmness of the rear diff so I ordered Whiteline's KDT906 which replace the bushings in the upper mount by the spare tire. I removed the inserts in the lower mount a couple weeks ago and installed KDT905. It was an improvement but I think it can get better. I also started to install KDT902 Positive Traction Kit and realized after pressing in a couple of the upper bushings that it was not something I wanted to tackle by myself with the car on jack stands. So I aborted the mission and probably spent 30 minutes just aligning the rear subframe so I could bolt it back up. Next Friday I'm bringing it to a friend's shop so he can install the KDT902 and KDT906. Removing the rear subframe will make installing the KDT902 a cake walk. The subframe has to be removed and the rear diff dropped to install the KDT906. That was also something I was not willing to do with it on jack stands. I was hoping I could talk him into letting me come in on a Saturday and he and I could do the work off the clock but he said the shop owner cut down on that a while back. I'm ashamed to say this is the first mod I can think of that I did not install on either of my Subies. Rogue, do you want install instructions of any particular parts? I can probably look around between IWSTI and ScoobyMods to find them for you. Just let me know.
  3. I agree with Magic Marker. I'm not a fan of most silvers b/c they are so light but the SSM is a winner.
  4. Also, the black tabs are plastic not rubber on the OEM dead pedal.
  5. Yep it's 5 5/8" from the bottom of the lower pin to the top of the upper pin.
  6. Nice. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the bushings. Do you have the factory short-throw?
  7. Loving the bellmouth. Maybe it's just engraved in my head from my STI days but I'd love to see a bellmouth downpipe released as well. It would be nice to see dyno comparison between a bellmouth and Invidia's current design. The benefits of the bellmouth on Subaru's with the other turbo and manifold setup are obvious. It just seems odd that a manufacturer would release a product without a bellmouth unless they deemed it unnecessary. I know it's been discussed in other threads on here but I'd like to see hard numbers and testing with the BMC and an Invidia downpipe.
