I read there is a way to make the rears fit from a wagon in a sedan, anyone hear of that?
No but if you find out how exactly to do that, please let me know. I looked into it a bit and it seems the wagon rears are mounted differently v.s. the sedan rear seats.

WTB: Your 07+ 2.5i non-limited CLOTH rear seats from a sedan. PM me if you have them, thanks
-
will leaving the mid/y pipes stock free up any restrictions on exhaust flow? what parts make a FULL exhaust system?
Full exhaust would be an aftermarket header, UP, DP, catback (mid/y/cans)
-
I'm definitely thinking about the HKS but...I have Invidia catless UP and catted DP with a Cobb CAI. I want a little more growl, but I'm nervous that if I drop the cash I'll hate the outcome. Any advice or recommendations from the guys who have nice (hush) systems?
FWIW the name "Silent Hi-Power" is somewhat misleading IMO as some reviews I've read and soundclips I've heard, it actually is not a real quiet system. Borla is a good bet for quiet as well as Bosal (hard to find now). You could always leave the mid/y stock and get a nice set of cans (like AVOs) to add a bit of rumble without it being too loud.

Cool, thanks for looking at that for me. Guess I will continue the search for cloth 07+ legacy rear seats.
-
Outback has rear arm rest which the LegGT wagon don't (at least the cloth one).
zmarko confirmed in his thread that the OBXT rear seats are the same as the LGT wagon rears *edit, nevermind, he did say something about the armrest*.
Still wondering what the exact differences are between LGT sedan rears and LGT wagon rears? Not trying to bother you JDMChizad, but whenever you get the chance to look and compare, I'd appreciate it.

I have a few stock parts to get rid of if anyone's interested:
Front springs
Rear springs
Rear struts (minus tophats)
RSB
crossover pipe

I wonder if you mean me -- I'm actually not sure whether anyone on here has apexi cans besides me. Mine aren't this model, though, and were rebranded as wangan cans. And they're not fart cans, thank goodness - they're actually a little on the quiet side unless you've really got your foot in it, and then they're more like a deep growl than a raspy snarl. I put a couple clips in this thread a while back.
You and another guy in Cali have the Apexi WS-2.. which is a very nice exhaust. Maybe that's what I was thinking of. Haven't seen anyone with the Apexi N1 canister style exhaust on a LGT.
-
that would be great if you could since you have both style seats in your driveway it sounds like.
-
Anyone have a clip of the A'pexi N1 CBE?
(Don't think I've seen anyone on LGT.com with this exhaust, but RallySportDirect has it for sale...)
I think I've seen one person on here with that exhaust. Fart cans + $1100 price tag = not a lot of people using it.
-
Ok thanks. I would go compare but know no one with a newer leggy wagon/outback.
-
They won't! Sorry... Unless you do lots of modification. I was checking out my wife's wagon cause I wanted to do '09 Spec B interior, but it won't work as far as I can tell. I would go look at a wagon's back seats and compare before you get into it.
Aw man right when I thought I found a set that would work . How far off are the wagon rears from the sedan rears? Are the seats different sizes/mounted differently?
-
What about 05 LGT wagon 60/40 fold down rear seats? Would those fit right in on a 05 LGT sedan? Don't see why they wouldn't but want to ask to be sure.
-
I used this link to buy some headlights. It's great and should help you find some seats. http://www.aaronsauto.com/index.html. It's a search for all junk yards.
Thanks for that. Forgot to mention that I'm in central VA so junkyards in MD aren't exactly local for me to swing through and see what they have.
This is a pic of the seats that I'm looking for (folding, 07+)

Damn man that is coming along nicely! Good work

WTB: Rear seats from 07+ Legacy. Want to do the fold down rear seat conversion to my 05. Prefer black cloth from a 2.5i to match my un limited seats but am not too picky. If anyone knows of an 07+ Legacy thats totalled or in a junkyard somewhere in VA, please LMK. Thanks.

Looks good! Nice cheap upgrade. That being said, I have most of the stock suspension stuff for cheap if anyones interested..

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgAME_UqZg8]YouTube- Legacy GT stage 2 Bosal exhaust[/ame]
Grimmspeed PnP exh. manifold/crossover pipe-> Grimmspeed UP-> Cobb catted DP -> Bosal v.1.5 catback (AEM CAI)
edit: how come youtube embedding doesn't work on this forum anymore?
-
most likely. Might just leave the stock scoop for a while since I'm going FMIC

FS: Practically brand new R-REV carbon fiber scoop extension.
Fits on over the stock scoop. Was on car for 4 days, like new condition. $125 shipped/papalled. Located in Charlottesville, VA.

subscribe. Seen a couple FXTs that have done this but not on a LGT. Should look sick
-
Really? Who cares? It's not even like his location says DC

I have the same symptoms , exhaust smell and obnoxious ticking from the crossover. Could be normal smell though considering I went from stock 3 restrictive cats to 1 (pretty used) highflow cat.

Nice and thanks! If you could find that thread, that would be great. I know of a somewhat local set of wagon rear seats from an 05, in matching cloth that I want to pick up, just trying to figure out if there's a way to make them fit or not.
