  1. Winter??? Pfft. Looks good, though! Still really liking the chrome delete!
  2. n=2 is < "proves everything", but > "proves nothing" for anecdotal evidence. I park my '15 in a garage (reflective visor installed while at work), but the previous owner (as of last Fall), parked outdoors in NC. Hmmm. The grid is visible in mine even in indirect sunlight; however, it's not as bad as what some have posted. It doesn't bother me enough to try to get Subaru to cover it, but I've got an extended warranty and can revisit this decision some time in the future, if it gets worse.
  3. Ah!!!! Not a typo, just confusing. Your post means you change your oil with 10k miles on your car. It reads as if you changed your oil with 10k miles on the OIL. 5k OCI is short - might as well use a cheaper oil.
  4. Ever contemplate sending off a sample for analysis? I'd bet it could go longer. 10k seems pretty prudent, otherwise.
  5. Can't wait to see the results! I'm not into visual mods like most of you guys seem to be, but this is one part of the car that bugs me enough to do something about...eventually...maybe
  6. Which oil and filter? If you thought just putting out an OCI of "10K" would shock us, think again!
  7. Subbase ‘round here is pretty liberal. I see someone pulled over every time I visit NS Newport! Mostly old white folks, for speeding, though. Woh be unto those who do 30 in a 25 or 35 in a 30!
  8. Good! Sounds like a great place to have family...in the winter. I’ve never been. Do you guys get to the strip often or is it too touristy for you guys? Too hot? I thought it was a DRY heat We have Family near Orlando and summer visits are off the table. Even when I was a young man on leave in Port Everglades, I could not stand th August/September heat and humidity!
  9. Three exclamation points means you either don’t gamble or didn’t lose any money.
  10. I think you meant, "Jaguar XK-series...." don't worry, it's an honest mistake. I'm sure people knew what you meant!
  11. Looks good, but I haven't ever seen yellow films as practically beneficial.
  12. Don't do it! Be payment free (and or keep that moolah in your bank account!) We've got three payments left on our '14 FXT and I'm excited to get rid of that $400/month money suck. If I think about it, three payments will just about cover a Cobb AP and pro-tune! An additional year's worth of payments and I can replaced the CVT when it breaks! OR...I can upgrade and have Apple CarPlay...
  13. It is my personal opinion that smoked headlights are about as stupid as stupid gets for car mods. Some people are retrofitting HIDs or modifying HIR bulbs to fit their sockets, all in the pursuit of MORE light output and visibility (not to mention the numb nuts who just want the look, despite any actual benefits or negative effects on other drivers). I've personally done the HIR mod and it was definitely worth it for the OE-like durability and moderate increase in lumens, all without much additional glare or some obnoxious color temperature. Granted, my uncle had smoked headlight on his 3rd-gen Mustang GT back in the 90's and I thought that was just the coolest thing ever. When I was a teenager, I also thought neon lights, chrome dubs and hella-flush stances were cool, too... In short: don't do it! lol // DD Switchback C-Light is pretty great. I love the look and practicality! Do that and post up a lot of pictures!
