  1. What what, RBP 5mt wagons, assemble! I would be mad to see another RBP wagon in my town too.. There's a guy I played hockey with who is local and said he's getting an obp LGT 5mt wagon and I'm not happy about it, kind of trying to talk him out of it.
  2. No joke, the gf and I are looking for exactly that...
  3. There are two distinct sides over whether you should bake forged wheels... It's been discussed in this thread I believe.
  4. Someone help me out here... I can swap in an '06 STi 6mt with all of my basic drivetrain components.. + DCCD Controller for STI 6MT, 2005+ 2.5i LGT Auto Driveshaft (for Sedan or Wagon based on what you have currently) or 2007+ Spec B Driveshaft, appropriate 6MT flywheel and clutch, 2005 STI front axle seals (recommended), 6MT shift linkage, 6MT shifter, 6MT shift knob (as a note, most donor sets more than likely won't have a knob as most have been robbed from the junkyards ), 6MT slave cylinder, 6MT clutch fork ?
  5. Any new owners with this issue, please continue to report the claims through the website https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq Takes 10 minutes. This could be a serious safety issue, and Subaru should own up to it.
  6. I thought you moved to the WRX/STi to get into a standard trans Subaru? Will any of these newer below the surface advancements transfer over to our 4th gens? That is, will you and BMB be developing other bolt-on kits to make our LGTs better?
  7. You don't need to explain anything to them, you took a shot at a deal and missed. If you want to go FMIC on you LGT that's fine too. Do whatever you want, its your car. There are others at the same place as you with a FMIC. Lastly this is a for sale thread, which is exactly how you were using it. Shame on the other guys for questioning you and telling you what to do here.
  8. You can get odd sizes too IIRC, like 7mm. I'd run a 5mm spacer in the rear, but was always unsure if it was ok to do in just the rear and not the front.
  9. Not my style.. but I'll still sell you my stocker if you need one shipped.
  10. What are you currently removing for the stock knob?
  11. BMB- you're looking for a stock shift knob or aftermarket? I have my stocker that I'd sell you on the cheap. Lmk.
  12. Excellent write-up.. I have the bearings, just waiting till spring and I'm really hoping to find a lift. Yours look fine, mine are going to be bad I'm guessing. Edit: or maybe those are all pics of the new bearings?
  13. 223344 miles and 1.1 on trip, kind of cool. I'm going to ruin my surprise, but I'm going to try my best to capture 123,456 miles and 789.0 on my trip. If I can only remember to hit reset at 122,667 miles. About 2,700 miles away.
  14. 120k quickly approaches. Burns maybe 1/2 quart of 5w40 every 3k miles, and stg1 since 70k miles. Will be going stg2 in the next month or so. Recently maintenance: -both valve covers and spark plug gaskets -passenger axle, and then both axle seals Probably gonna grab a backup turbo this year, just in case.
