  1. I was digging around in the fuse panel area the other day and found the previous owner had installed a add-a-fuse for a V1 radar. Gonna use it for the dimming function on my VBG
  2. Closely followed your 99 sedan build, can't believe I just now stumbled on this one. I love the 3.0R sedans. One of the only cars that I'd give up my wagon for, its the perfect DD.
  3. ^ got one failing on my LGT right now, RR. Me? Just hit 133k, runs strong, idles smooth as glass, hits boost like it should and quietly, eats 0.5-0.75qt every 3k miles, trans is noisy and has been 25k miles, but shifts fine though; original motor, turbo and trans.
  4. I don't blame you, I had a shop do my plugs and valve cover gaskets last fall. Although, many claim it's not difficult. It's worth mentioning, bc when replacing/removing the OEM UP those bulky heat shields can ding the half moon gasket or valve cover gaskets, and cause the valve covers to leak even more than they are already prone to do. Be gentle when removing and replacing the UP, don't just yank and pull.
  5. Took another log today, and I'm consistently seeing that early boost feedback knock correction. Any suggestions on what my next best step is to correct it? I don't think it was there with the previous revision of Cobb's stg2 map so I was thinking about going backwards a map, or I could try stepping down even further to the 91ACN oct map (even though I'm running good 93oct). Advise? datalog18.csv
  6. Ran another WOT log today. Anyone care to comment? Cobb OTS stg2 on their latest 91oct map, but running 93oct. Beautiful, cool, 56* day with 25% humidity, elevation around 1000ft. I've never seen over 16PSI until today... datalog17.csv
  7. Is there an install thread on it, or something close enough to get the idea?
  8. Awesome addition to my wagon, definitely getting it setup for oil pressure too.
  9. My wheels aren't on the list Rota G-force, 18x8.5, +48, not sure of the weight. Lowered ION springs/Koni Struts, no rubbing with either 225/40 or 235/40, no fender work. http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=164177&d=1380311314
  10. Success! That wasn't hard at all. Idk wtf took me so long…
  11. I figured it would be different RH to LH, just wanted to see the pics before I started pulling the wheel liner. Loving it mounted even though its not on, looks great already.
  12. ^ That's what I need to know, except something other than a RHD LGT with a 5mt preferably Basically what's the best way to run the boost vacuum line?
  13. Man I've dug around the thread a good bit, but I can't find the definitive install post. I've got the screen installed in the vent and everything is hanging loose near the fuse panel, but I'd like to see the rest of the install before I go further. Anyone have a thread going or direct me to a install post?
  14. ^ Stock tune? Couple people now with 250k miles on their stock motors. I know Mike is tuned, but c-lo isn't. Regardless it's comforting info.
  15. There's a donation station and you're right, more people should do it. Donate here… Yeah, I literally loaded the new map and took a short warm up drive, then took a crisp run up to 80mph for that log. I'll give it a couple hundred miles and try again with some more throttle. Thanks for the input.
  16. I just updated maps to the newest Cobb ots stg2 91oct map, actually running 93oct. Any issues on this log (moderate run from 2nd-4th)? Too soon to pull the data? datalog14.csv
  17. I'd say so, and $10k with 75k miles is a decent deal. Its only about an hour from me.
  18. Found a RBP LGT 5mt wagon for sale south of Pitt.. https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/4331924664.html
