This looks outstanding. TWO requests: 1) You mentioned that the brightness is adjustable... could it be tied in with the car's brightness controller (it is very close to this vent already). 2) And this is probably more important for me -- the colors of the LEDs are extremely important. The OLED displays match perfectly with the standard colors and layout in the LGT, but the bright red LEDs seem to stand out just a bit. I would prefer either blue LEDs or just dimmer red LEDs so that this display doesn't stand out above everything else in the car. The closer you can make this look to being a factory option the better. This is great work! I look forward to the final product!

3.5 years after the fact and this thread is still helping people out. I have the chilton manual but these pictures are way better. Its good to read about the breaker bar / impact gun issues. Doesn't sound fun but at least I'll know what to expect this weekend. Thanks

Lucky for me... haha. I only got mine down here because it was 1 of only 2 spoilerless 07s left in the country at the time. I understand that in places like AK or Canada this program could very well be worth it. But the majority of the US Legacys seem to go well below sticker to begin with.

Just a thought: a few have mentioned that right hand turns produce a louder or more frequent growl. Turning right plants the left hand side of the car -- the drivers side -- which, when driving alone, has more weight on it. This would further indicate that the growl is -- I believe the word of choice was, exacerbated by a decrease in ground clearance.
