Replaced the A/F ratio sensor as it was faulty. Found the windshield wiper controls were faulty so replaced that and resolved the issue with non functional INT windshield operation. All 4 AVCS are functional and working properly. We logged it and found that after the engine sits for a while it takes a moment to get the AVCS running smoothly again. IMG_9367%20by%20Arnold%20Chun,%20on%20Flickr"][/url] Checked the Barometric pressure sensor operation after re-calibration and seems to be working fine. Reading at 14.1 Tachometer is now working as we had a loose connection.

The AVCS is now working on all 4 cams. I guess it was taking some time for the cams to get back to proper order after the engine sat for over 1 year without operation. We did replace the exhaust side oil solenoid, the tachometer is now working due to a loose connection. The MAP sensor however is faulty and needs to be replaced. We also need to still diagnose the 02 sensor failure and the throttle hanging issue. There are some other minor things I need to get sorted out. 1. The turn signals blink faster than normal. 2. My windshield washers don't work in the INT position. Additionally they don't sweep in the one time clear action. 3. Think I might have a bad AC belt.

Official jdm conversion/aftermarket body thread

Well I'm almost about there finishing this build. Here is the thread. I basically took an 05 Legacy GT Limited Wagon and transformed it into the 07 JDM Legacy Tuned By STI Wagon. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/05-legacy-bp5-gt-limited-07-jdm-bp5-legacy-tuned-259525.html?t=259525 -
I have been working on finishing her up everyday. There have been a few snags, finding parts installed incorrectly or missing screws and grommets but other than that the car looks and drives amazing. Going back to get another tune once the sensor issues are fixed. Turns out using the EJ20Y on the JDM ECU into a 05 USDM LGT engine harness required re-pinning certain things and now the AVCS isn't working on all 4 Cams. Hopefully it is a sensor issue. Also found the main 02 sensor not working as well as the barometric pressure sensor. The throttle control is hanging a bit at 20-30% when not open. So we have some issues to figure out. But here are long awaited pic of how she looks now. I completed putting on the front end and am still working on getting the rear finished.

The tunnel on the rear end of the chassis has some sort of bend that prevents fitment properly. I didn't want to deal with altering the area so I'm going to forgo putting it on. The JDM Wagon and USDM Wagon rear end are clearly different. -

Very nice my friend. -
The data was from STI of Japan itself. Subaru of Japan and STI are believe it or not actually separate entities. When I spoke to Subaru of Japan about rates for the springs on the S402 and TBSTI models, they had no clue. I had to be referred to STI to get the data. Then at STI they were very secretive as well. The part numbers for the S402 Wagon springs I purchased are completely different from any of the part numbers people know of for JDM pinks and they are not the same rating. The link you provided has the part numbers for the JDM pinks for the older first series of revisions which are meant for the 03-05 JDM legacy and Spec B models which had much lower spring rates. The part numbers on the link from EDO are ST2038021010/ST2033021000 The part numbers for the S402 Wagon Springs are: ST2033021090 ST2038021110 completely different springs. Thank you for the compliments btw. I'll continue to update this as the car is finished!

Well we also have to take in account that the 06, 07 JDM TBSTI Bilsteins and the 08 JDM S402 Bilsteins are valved so differently compared to the USDM SPEC B. I've been continuing to dig deep and researching the specs on the Bilsteins for those cars has been difficult. I've only been able to retrieve the data on the 06 JDM TBSTI Bilsteins which is: Front: 1,650/1,000(N/mm) = 1650 kg / s2 Rear: 1,800/900(N/mm) = 2000 kg / s2 THE 08 JDM S402 Wagon is the heaviest of the BL/BP trims at 1520kg curb weight. Which is roughly 3350lbs. Maybe that explains the stiffer springs used. I got a price for the S402 Wagon Bilsteins and it's a very temping thing but just can't justify the price. So I will stick with the used 06 TBSTI Bilsteins that I have.
