Has anybody put a circa 2016 Sti 6mt into a 5th gen Lgt? Any details would be appreciated.

When I change the trans fluid should i change the diff also with the same Extra Mt. How much does the diff take?

Where can you buy Extra MT 75-80w in a small quantity to fill the 6 mt trans?

Has anyone switched from the cocktail of motul/redline to extra Mt 75-80w. Is there a significant difference?

2010 LGT 6 mt. Is the notchy shiftiing, same as wrx setup, caused by the cable shifter or the trans itself? Sti, I believe, has the same trans but with linkage rather than cable shifter and does not have notchy shifting.

2010 LGT 6 mt. Has the oem cable shifter. Same setup as Wrx. The notchiness of the trans is well known. TDC in Bradenton is brain storming on the notion that the notchiness is caused by the cable shifter and not the trans itself. Changing to used Spec B parts seems $ outrageous. They are looking into building a linkage system to change out for the cable shifter. Any opinions as to the cable shifter causing the notchy shifting. Other than that the car is great. (It would have been nice if Subaru had put in a normal emergency brake instead of the electric thing that is labeled emergency brake).

2010 LGT-Paint worn off of wheel center caps. They are plastic. On line found Subaru part number 28821SA030 is plastic. Part number 28821SA040 is aluminum. They look the same. Will they both fit my car? i assume the aluminum ones would last longer. Would they look correct to keep my car oem in appearance? Thanks

The angle on the face makes the reverse lock out go up when you go into 1st. The Kartboy unit works fine.

I want to retain oem ride and handling. Looking for quick struts. The only maker I can find is FCS. Are they any good? KYB does not make quick struts for my car and Monroe only makes for the front, no rears. Thanks

2010 lgt mt. Borla exh, high flow cat, afe air filter, internet off the shelf tune. Just moved from NJ. Can feel the loss of hp due to heat of FL. Don't know if the high humidity has any effect. What would be the best intercooler to upgrade to? Any guess as to what it would increas hp?

Installed 07 rear fold down seat in my 06. Selling car (needs motor). Will swap with $ for Taupe Leather "fixed" back seat You will have to do the swap at my house. Was very easy. Watched body shop guy do it. gary NJ
