  1. Hi All, Would this top intercooler fit the 07 Legacy GT? I can't understand the difference between the 08-09 and the older 4th gens https://www.bobshop.co.za/top-mount-turbo-intercooler-for-subaru-impreza-wrx-and-forester-xt-improve-performance-and-hors/p/606291897?srsltid=AfmBOoqLjsGoJb_JaD1TV2t_JLdozHrgW7rLGYR657rFqQw3LAC0v-DbRjQ
  2. Does anyone know the dimensions or hole positions for the secondary air pump deletes (LGT 07) on the back of the engine for both plates by any chance? I want to 3D model them then cut them out in aluminum since I am going to do the TGV delete and remove IM.
  3. Anyone have the TGV 3D model by any chance... I was thinking that may end up deleting it and it could potentially just be 3D printed instead of bought or all the cutting...
  4. Agh... You guys are killing me... I was under the impression that the stock 6MT clutch/gearbox was good to 450... Well I guess it also safes me from blowing cash and having to spend it again... Thank you
  5. I was thinking of doing mine just for sanity... mine is on 250k kms but maybe should get discs and bearings and replace them all.
  6. Hi All, Have read through the forum and am just trying to figure out at which KM or miles did anyones bearings actually begin to fail. My LGTB is picking up some high KM so I just wanted an indication on how long they generally lasted.
  7. Not totally sure on this one but would check the fuel pump and regulator first, think you can get a reading in Romraider. Then perhaps the fuel rails on the injectors since it's missing on all 4 cylinders. Think the other events may be a result of the ECU trying to do corrections but I could be wrong here... Think its the below readings
  8. Maybe just a rebuild, you may not need to replace the entire turbo unless the price comparison is more or less the same with labor or if your planning to put a different turbo in like the VF46...
  9. So created the Spec B badge as close to the original as possible from an image https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6413396
  10. Or this one which I favor over the other one https://maxmotorsport.co.za/products/universal-gloss-black-v-style-sedan-boot-spoiler
  11. Hi All, How do you guys think this spoiler would look on the Legacy GT B 2007 face lift? https://www.ebay.com/itm/126131997005?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOoof3Wk-g9mPAO7qVppKcDWrJ_3qMxiLyWTfpPE40WMD0tV3c2JadJE I can't find any compatible ducktail trunk spoilers locally which I know for sure would fit the car as give the rear some more feel.
  12. @LegacyLGT05 Since you opened your original engine... From what I understand the rods should be forged as well as the crankshaft... Are you able to confirm? The pistons are not on all vehicles as I understand it...
  13. Pipe is for the secondary air pump just move the blank offs over there should be one on each side of the engine.
  14. Isn't that the tubro... Maybe play on the blade and the blade is wobbling inside of turbo...
  15. Reason for me is simple... really loved the Subaru WRX rally car and always wanted a Subi... Went to view a Legacy GT and bought it 200k on clock... drove it for a bit then found out it was a Spec B... got a family now so the feature of the car are still great. Can buy a car with these feature, specs and pleasure for the price I got the car... parts are the same when compared to the newer cars I have owned. Had a Toyota 86 2014 which left a lot to be desired as one would have expected more out of it and to top it of you can't compare it to the Legacy not by price, performance or pleasure... It's just a pleasure to own, pleasure to cruise and pleasure to fly. Engine replacement if it ever happens... could probably buy a hatch back WRX 2009 model this side but would probably just fix the Legacy... I can't explain what the car does to an owner but I think the guys and girls holding onto them understand where I'm coming from... it's just a car but it's the car...
  16. Ok just a question. You have physically checked the coil cables... My car had strange things happening and I have misses mainly on cyl 2 & 3 yet I found that coil 4 cables were torn and I could actually hear an arc sound as the open wire was arcing on the engine case. I soldered it up then taped up all the coil pack wires as well as the clip which clips onto the coil pack. On the spark plugs just double check them too I had a fail as well on that... I was give a spark plug not OEM but NGK and it was installed and the car still ran bad... make sure the reach of the spark plug is 26.5mm and that it is a 5kOhm spark plug.
  17. Thanks Infosecdad, I put in the spare ones I had which I removed... the ILFR6B which isn't apparently recommended for the 2.5T not sure why as its practically the same spark plug spec as the original. After replacement the car has no jerk or hesitation nor idling strange... Oh and Merry Xmas to all.
  18. Ok Guys so I double checked the spark plug they gave me which was one step colder... This is what they gave me (It seemed to make sense due to gap but I just noticed something the reach is totally different... Could this be causing my issue and does what I'm thinking here make sense? If the reach is too short it would definitely cause misfire and issue I previously mentioned?) https://www.ngk.com/ngk-2667-bkr7eix-iridium-ix-spark-plug This is the original as I understand according to Subaru part list https://www.ngk.com/ngk-7913-silfr6a-laser-iridium-spark-plug https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_2007_Legacy-GT-B-SEDAN/SPARK-PLUG-------------------------------NGKSILFR6A/49231673/22401AA670.html
  19. Hi All, So just an update... I have been driving the car for a while and it is much better. It still has a random dip in RPM on idle and in some cases there is a delayed response in throttle. It isn't consistent so I am really not sure what to check any more. No leaks found anywhere, compared ECU with Base map and they are identical. O2 sensor readings seem fine swopped MAFs back and forth not much of a difference...
  20. Big one that I switch on once in a while is 400x400x800mm. Normal day to day ones are 200 x 200 x 200 and the other 400 x 400 x 400 excluding the resin one
  21. For testing only honeycombs. Want to check dimensions and positioning. Want to get this done so I can get to the side mirrors.
  22. Are you talking about the front of the model? In the middle of the yellow highlighted area? I revised the grill which I'm going to double check measurements with the original. I was thinking that I may be able to print the grill in TPU 95A which would make it very easy to mount to the existing grill with epoxy.
  23. In progress, any chance someone has accurate dimensions for the front grill. Not sure how difficult it is to remove...
