  1. Don't worry about reaction times it doesn't matter when you are only running for best time. What was you 1/8 mile trap speed?
  2. Base on your slip, your 12.9 was accomplish in the first 1/8th. Nice 1/8 mph for a stg 1 vehicle.
  3. That is some great driving to pull off a 12sec run at just 101mph. Congrats!
  4. Well atleast it is faster, only thing that concerns me is Legend's car ran a bit faster on the stock vf40 at the same track. However based upon your slip, with some better drivng your car has a 13.9xx in it as it sits.
  5. Most of their test are not performed on actual "drag" strips.
  6. How many miles since you reinstalled the battery. After a reset it is very common to experience a jumpy idle for the fist 20-30 miles or so.
  7. Elevation really effects power and trap speed, at that altitude 107-108 mph STi's usually trap around 99-100mph.
  8. Trap speed isn't bad at all for 5800', driving on other hand......
  9. By the way it might have been phantom knock, but it is nice to start off clean then slowly get more aggressive.
  10. The 07+ roms target slightly more boost up top yet the same peak psi(13.5) however they went to a smaller restrictor pill on the BCS which in turn will generate more boost. I would say the catless UP would have an effect on the torque output and spool more than peak HP numbers. Also with a turbo the size of ours I would think a larger diameter UP would be a negative more than positive. The greatest benefit I see is the ability to just slap on a DP and be stg 2.
  11. Seriously doubt this... Also 07+'s tend to not benefit much from stg 1 tuning due to their higher stock boost levels compared to the 05-06's.
  12. Temps that day were high 70's and 1100ft elevation, they were having quite the time launching with the 265's. They bogged out a bunch of launches.
  13. That is some great driving! On our local track out here Bookjunkie was only able to hit a 12.9 on stg 2 110oct tune on YimiSport's 08 STi. However his trap speed was quite a bit higher (107 mph). That sea level elevation sure does help as well.
  14. Well if you have had your injectors flow tested, use that number for the scaling. You can search around and there should be plenty of places that have the latency posted then just go from there. I also reccommend taking the AEM intake off and going back to the stock box until you have your injectors dialed in.
  15. You can load a stock map to your car and use the RomRaider to scale your MAF and Injector w/latency.

  17. Get familiar with all the different sites with tuning forums. Cobbforums, Nasioc tuning section and even RomRaider. This will help you greatly when starting off and even later on.
