Jace2010LGT
So my dog destroyed my beloved LGT. Should I fix it and leave it alone or facelift to a 2013? Opinions? Why or why not? Thanks

acumenhokie
Depends on how destroyed it is. Let's see some pics. There are a lot of differences between 2010 and 2013 so it's all up to how much you'd already be replacing anyway vs. what's fixable.
Syndicate
Go for the newer front. More aggressive. …this, the only downside may be switching the foglights over since those are different bulb. Sorry about your car though man.
sschmelcke
The fog lights on the 2013 are better but the grill is hideous
thejbon
agreed, keep the 2010 grille! id love to see 2010 grille on a 2013
Ellesedil
If your current grill is in bad shape but the frame is good, I'd just go Grillcraft.
Jace2010LGT
The problem is I don't think the 2010 grill will the 2013 bumper. I think the opening for the grill is larger. I'm not too fond of the 2013 grill myself. My current bumper and grill are ok just need to be painted to fix the scratches. I was just thinking that if I gonna paint the old one for about $400 I can swap front ends. Still on the fence.
BAC5.2
How did your dog destroy your front end? Jace2010LGT
She got locked in the garage by accident and basically scratched every panel and both headlights. State Farm has given me $3600 to repair my car with the majority going towards repainting it.
GTEASER
Good to hear that this will be taken care of by your insurance. I think you should do the facelift if it fits into the budget. I know you said you werent too fond of the 2013 grille, but it actually looks quite good with the center wing plastidipped instead of chrome. Cup_of_Joe
Did you do the facelift? Can you change just the bumper? Or do you have to get other pieces so it all fit? Sent from my LG-ls990 using Tapatalk
GTEASER
The facelift on a 2010-2012 would require 2013-2014 bumper, grille, fog surrounds and fog lights (because they are different) and headlights if you wanted to. Okay, so hold off on dipping my grill and buying the oem fogs! And I'm gonna grab those U bar headlights, so I just need the bumper and grill.
