urdrwho
I have an extra IAV that I want to clean and then install. The last time I cleaned the IAV I liberally sprayed it with cleaner but I've read some people like to soak it overnight. If soaking it, do you stand it up so that the electronics don't get into the cleaner pool?
Sludgeroo
The cleaner is such a quick evaporate it shouldn't be an issue, but if you are concerned and you want to soak it, use some 98% iso alcohol as that wont ruin the electronics
spooln30
I wouldn't soak it as in fully submerge the IAC for a long period of time. You should be able to clean it really good with some carb spray and a old tooth brush and a air blow gun with compressed air. I clean them this way when ever needed and works just fine. Osei
Just remove the electronics, this allows you to get to all parts of the wheel. By soak, spray or brush. O.
