Penguin
Wonder what the build cost is compared to just buying a new C7 Corvette and getting basically the same level of performance with a warranty.... and more potential for power?
apexjapan
The thing is, you can get 350-380whp out of a stock BRZ/FR-S motor with a turbo kit, e85, and some good tuning. For a lot less than the cost of that car's setup.
Penguin
As noted by the video such power levels are not reliable though. The engine can handle it, but the clutch can't, and neither can the half shafts. I question the ability of the transmission to be durable at that power level as well.
