NavyMM06LGT
Bought her back in December of '12, been a bit of a daily driver while my '06 LGT is getting motor rebuilt. She has 243k miles and motor sounds healthy. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7410/8723482565_41883857ef_c.jpg A few weeks ago had a silent failure in the driveline... Pulled the trans out yesterday and found the clutch disc off center behind the pressure plate... Pulled the pressure plate off and found the clutch disc busted.... Let the fixing/upgrading games begin.... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7334/8724607654_77f142cf64_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7297/8724583726_8ea59a12ed_z.jpg Going to replace the window seals, sand and prime the rusted bits, then respray the car. General long term maintenance items.

Zues Marine
not that it matters at all, but i believe that is a 96, not a 95... either way, looks good

NavyMM06LGT
Got my new Rhinopac OE clutch in yesterday and got the car back together in 4 hours... Not to bad for getting the trans in by myself with a floorjack lol.... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7395/8749164095_7f67ab1617_c.jpg Now to work on the adjustment of the clutch pedal... cable clutches are strange to me. Kiyo1990
Hell, thats impressively fast. It would take me a weekend easy. Just be patient on it and itll go smooth. The cable clutches are pretty simple
NavyMM06LGT
I have done this a few times on my 06 with replacing the clutch in that one and pulling/installing the motor when it blew last year. haha.. and im sure the 243k miles on the car helps things kind of slide together. NavyMM06LGT
I know the wheels are not the facotry wheels. they were replaced by one of the previous owners
Zues Marine
those look like wrx ones (?) either way, i think you won on the wheel swap, lol
NavyMM06LGT
Yeah i believe they are wrx wheels that are color matched to the lower trim color... looks good IMO
jp233
Looks nice. Those look like 04/05 WRX wheels? I have 02-03 WRX 16" 5-stars on my 94 wagon... sure spruces the older ones up a bit. If you want some winter/rally/dirt/mud shoes, I have a set of 15" phone dials with brand new Yoko AT-S tires on them...
NavyMM06LGT
I am planning on doing the subtle solutions 1" lift on the wagon.... ill keep that in mind jp
jp233
nice how simple it is in the engine bay without the IC piping, hoses everywhere, turbo and all that, eh? that why I fell in love with the EJ22E in the Gen1 Legacy..... so simple, it is so easy to change spark plugs, injectors, valve covers, you can remove the heads in the car, etc! Yeah, I've held onto these 15" phone dials with A/Ts because I thought I may get a 95-99 Outback or the Gen1 Forester, and make it a winter/mud car... but so far instead bought a broken 06 LGT to fix/sell and need to convince the wife to get into another Subie.
