roundthirteen
I'm taking the Spec B down to http://www.pure-tuning.com/ for a pro tune. So far the car has- Cobb Cat'd DP Invidia up pipe Magnaflow Cat Back Grimmspeed Crank Pulley Access port OTS 91stg2 AVO tmic Turbosmart BPV My Cobb ECBS will go on just before tuning. Any guesses on numbers??? I'm not expecting anything great. She's run a 13.837 with a crappy driver and unhappy tune so far. My car's not a sleeper it's a hibernator. http://pure-tuning.com

08SpecB_DE
sub'd You have all the mods I would like to do (besides the pulley). Was there a benefit to changing out the uppipe since it does not have a cat in the 08-09?
a93x
What dyno do they use. I'll guess 280. torque impresses girrls, hp impresses flat-bills

roundthirteen
sub'd You have all the mods I would like to do (besides the pulley). Was there a benefit to changing out the uppipe since it does not have a cat in the 08-09? I got it on the cheap from here and just threw it on while I was doing something else, I don't expect any gains from it. What dyno do they use. I'll guess 280. I think 280whp on a stock VF46 is a little high. The dyno is a Mustang MD-AWD-1100-SE Anything is going to be more than the last time I dyno'd a car. My old Saturn (yes) SL2 STS autocross car was Dyno'd on a Dynapack to dial in it's Apexi Super AFC II piggyback (couldn't unlock the PCM) and it set down a blazing 141whp out of bolt on modified it's N/A 1.9lt..... Still 141whp in a 2100lbs car was umm "spirited" I'm trying to find a word between total let down and mildly quick. lee07
Around 245 if a mustang dyno, always go in expected a lower number to come out happy Shoot too high and come back disappointed Go in expecting only
roundthirteen
After scurrying to get a few things done the night before tuning, I skipped the up pipe. So a basic Stage 2 (Turbo back/AP) with an AVO TMIC, upgraded BPV and Grimmspeed crank pulley. The numbers- 255whp @19psi 322 ft/lbs I'm pretty ok with that. I went in expected a 200whp knockfest, so with a low expectation any result seems good I'll scan the graph when I get a chance. My car's not a sleeper it's a hibernator. http://pure-tuning.com
