Rester5350
Your car looks awesome ! I am really liking the rack. I wonder if its posible to run that with my Thule sidearms and longer crossbars? Oh and by the way what size tires are you running?
fstaslp
It mounts to any rack, so you should be able to. My tires are: 225/55/
Rester5350
Cool, thanks man. Do you mt bike? I have ridin some trails in West Lafayette and a park down by Speed.
fstaslp
Yeah try to as much as possible, but with all of the rain, it has been rough on the trails. Interestingly enough that sticker came on the car when I bought it. I have since removed it because it was cracking and worn out up close.
Rester5350
Yeah I haven't been out too much lately but I hope that will change soon. I have a sticker in the same exact spot but mine says #occupybikeseat!

Rester5350
Sure is, it's been all over the country! The funny thing is I leave this job on Friday and I'm not sure if it will have the option any longer.
gravelracer
Loving your Kuat rack, I'm thinking of getting the NV once I get some extra funds.

fstaslp
Now officially Stage 2. Got the COBB down pipe, Grimmspeed Up Pipe, and new Grimmspeed Turbo Heat shield. I also installed a Prosport Halo Boost Gauge. I'd say it was a pretty productive night. Tomorrow I'll install the master cylinder brace. Next episode will be the HexMods F1 Valve body. Gotta take it easy until it gets here.
fstaslp
Grimmspeed Master Cylinder Brace is on. Man who knew that could be such an install. I ended up removing my TMIC to gain more room.
fstaslp
After driving with the brace for a day, I can say it was well worth the cuts on my arms. I haven't been able to enjoy the stage 2 yet because I still need to install the F1 Valve body, but it is running smooth and there are no leaks. themitchster359
hey man, you are local to me. i just picked up an 05 OBXT a month ago. also, you can run stage 2 pretty easily without the valve body mod. the 5EAT is pretty tough tranny. I am stage 2 w/ no problems...F1 mod coming sometime. ha.
fstaslp
Well the F1 is in and man is it NICE! The shifts are firm, and feels much stronger. I would definitely recommend it even if you think the tranny would be fine with out it. Next step now is to get off this OTS tune and find some more power.
