LeggySue
hey guys, recently blew the turbo in my 06 legacy gt. If all goes to plan i would like to purchase the new blouch 380xt turbo. http://www.bptstore.com/Subaru-Legacy-GT-380XT-Turbocharger_p_113.html I know i need to purchase injectors but a friend of mine who had a 09 wrx, was running a vf52 at 20 psi and said his top mount melted. I was wondering if i would need a new top mount to run this turbo.i plan on purchasing one as soon asap, but cant really afford to buy one from the get go. I have an invidia downpipe/uppipe, spt short ram intake, full exhuast. and bov. with a tune. Any advice would help thanks guys.
Thetoad
Ok,,,ok,,,enough with the music.. May I ask one question,,,were you using standard oil as I was in my 06 B ,,,or did you make a changeover to synthetic ,,,which I feel is absolutely mandatory when running a turbo. Good luck on your repairs,,,,,go syn.

Max Capacity
When you say blown turbo, do you mean pieces of metal went into the engine ? FWIW, I have stock fueling with my vf52 on my wagon. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
