channoff Posted February 5, 2013 Author Share Posted February 5, 2013 What really quieted everything down for me was installing an equal length header...amazing. The un-equal length header really adds a "thump" to the exhaust note making it boom and cause resonance in the cabin...something to consider. Already have EL headers I just bought OEM catback for $100 , a 3" to 2.5" adapter, and, with the cash left over on Perrin sale, I am going to Cryotune for a new tune. If anything is left over, I have to replace injectors as I am 99% sure they are near max DC. FYI, even with my 40% UPS discount, damn OEM exhaust cost nearly $165 to ship due to mid/y pipe being one piece and 77" long. Billed me 90 lbs for a 30 lb part. Grrr UPS.
