Heedz
I'll stay subaru if its a properly swapped RS or 2nd gen legacy or 6speed fxt/bugeye. If not probably evo8. Who here has totalled a similar car and what did you get paid out for?
Hillsboro
What people get will depend on where they live. The insurance company will find several examples of your car as close to you as possible and use those to get your value. I went throughout this with my Sti. The insurance company found two limited's close to me. Both of them had salvaged titles which they did not bother to check on. I went and found my own examples and although they said the wouldn't use them I got what I wanted. Your car is a little more common, but I'd be ready with some examples yourself. adreyna
Sorry about your loss. If I were you, I'd start collecting all the receipts you may have for the insurance can see its true value. Sometimes it helps, worst thing they can do is say that maintenance costs or things it needs to run cant be compensated

TheBlackPearl
Wait, so they didn't call it a total then? Whatever the outcome, I hope the insurance company doesn't jack you around too much. But....What up with the SPT intake? :-) Self proclaimed PNW Craiglist find of the day Champion, April 2014.
