famaya26
Isn't the OEM plastic one more efficient?
MooKz
Isn't the OEM plastic one more efficient? It's been said, but I would like to see a flow chart sometime. Our manifolds are Drive-By-Wire though. What year did the STi start receiving DBW?
Y4555
I have an 06 sti intake on my 05 wagon and the runners measured 2mm larger in internal diameter than the oem plastic one. IRC the 08+ Sti has a better oem map sensor if you aren't already upgraded.

MooKz
Hmm That's odd. The reason I heard of ours flowing better is because the ceramic material that the manifold is made of is hotter than the plastic ours are made of. Who knows? I want the STi manifold so I can have a nice powder coated set of runners.

MooKz
It's worth it if you have bling under the hood. My dad always says, "Do what you can afford." So I'll be buying one and powdercoating it white and getting phenolic spacers.
Strizzy
Manifold flow comparisons: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2229576 I'm using a manifold from a 07 Legacy 2.5i. I had to drill out the TGV bolt holes a bit, but it fits like OEM. I'm also running a 3" Perrin inlet to a stock location 30r. I also have 8mm TGV spacers. http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-wRsh2HC/0/L/i-wRsh2HC-L.jpg http://www.strizzyphoto.com/photos/i-Qb2SSNs/0/L/i-Qb2SSNs-L.jpg My bad luck build
