clbourq
I have searched a lot over the last couple of days. I had a bit of an unfortunate event. My ebrake cable snapped and my car rolled down a hill into a telephone pole crushing my bumper, grill and hood. At least it hit right in the middle. My question is, can I get the JDM bumper without having to change the headlights and fenders? I want both the JDM bumper and honeycomb grille, but need to know that I can use them with my fenders and headlights. I am assuming the foglights are going to need replaced with JDM as well. Thanks for any info.
JermTheElf
The jdm bumper doesn't use 08 style headlights. You need both jdm headlights and fenders
Underdog
False. The headlights and fenders both need to change. 08Legacy08 is doing the swap now and can fill you in on the details. The Crimson Dynamo
JermTheElf
Does it need jdm headlights? Or will usdm 08+ headlights work? They look exactly the same
SCASEYS
need to change the headlights, it is confirmed I donated to LegacyGT.com which allows me to have this nifty signature. JermTheElf
I did not know that, I wish I could edit my post from tapatalk
Underdog
JDM headlights. They look the same but the JDM lights round off at the bottom corner more towards the front of the car. USDM lights are too "long" if that makes sense. *edit* Oops... took too long. Here is some more info for my tardiness: Finally uploaded the test fit pictures, they do not fit well at all. You can see the details at http://www.rrevsports.com/p_k2_testfit.htm http://www.rrevsports.com/k3.jpg I'm selling this kit for cheap for some professional bodywork/ fabrication specialist like "malingator" to play with. JermTheElf
Is the hood different as well? Heard to tell from that picture
SCASEYS
no, can use USDM hood I donated to LegacyGT.com which allows me to have this nifty signature. Underdog
AFAIK the hood does not need to change between '08+ USDM and the Rev.D-F JDM. 08Legacy08's test fit seemed to confirm this. Look in the WDYDTY4GLT thread from a couple weeks ago. The Crimson Dynamo
