Why so much lag?!?

Log looks weird - 0 WGDC? I assume the MBC has something to do with it?

Other than that, you have some learned knock and your fuel trim looks a little funky. Can you run a learning view?

whats learning view?

i have AF learning 1 in there, what fuel trim are you talking about?

according to Cobb's video on youtube about datalogging all my parameters are within reason.

It's entirely possible you're experiencing "lag" due to the hotter summer temperatures OP. What conditions were you tuned under? Because when it gets colder, you have to dial it back, and when it gets hotter, you have to dial it back up.

when I was tuned it was 91 degrees out according to my dyno sheet.

hot as a mofo.

last night when I logged it was 63 degrees out.

my car ran ok other than it's under target boost slightly.

something just doesnt seem right

no CEL.

Car takes a while to start sometimes, and has the lag i mentioned.

if both those problems could be solved with an injector cleaner, that would be awesome!

This is interesting because my car too has trouble hitting target boost and is a bit slow to start in the morning. Perhaps I should have the dealer do a seafoaming. Is there any risk to that?

Learning view is a took that can be used if you are using a tactrix cable to log - can;t do it with Cobb software (AFAIK). It displays a snapshot (in table format) all the learned knock, fuel trim adjustments and CEL codes at once.

Example:

Check these 3 things also as I've run into these issues personally.

1. All of the TGV motors on all 4 runners. (Make sure they are all plugged in)

2. The coil pack connectors

3. Injector connectors

Stupid shit makes you think big things so check every little thing. Also check the Fuel Regulator hose that goes into the intake manifold on the driver side.

That is so true!

Thanks, i'll double check all those things!

So the problem seems to have mostly gone away, its definitely gotten better.

This is all I did;

ran out the tank of gas (that the problem occured on) from a station I dont usually use.

got 8 gallons of gas from the place i usually go, and put seafoam in the tank.

ran that tank out.

got the same brand of gas that the car was tuned on (currently running)

re-aligned an exhaust section, noticed one was a little off when i was inspecting gaskets.

cleaned my airfilter, holy shit it was dirty.

not having the bottom silencer part on + gravel = bad.

boost is building a lot faster.

can't tell if my car is the same as before this strange occurence, but a launch confirmed it has its balls back for now.

Still going to do a pressure test this week

That's good! I'm glad to hear that. That'll do it. Word of advice, when you do the compression test, unbolt the motor mounts and jack the engine up so you have more hand room instead of squeezing your hand between the frame and motor.
