leggyman17
Yesterday i got my car (stage 2) dyno tuned. It was boosting 18.5lbs with a stock tubro and a stock top mount. Today it ran fine up until i hit peak boost one time and now i can olny boost up to 11 psi. So i guess my question would be how much boost can the OEM top mount take up to? SBT
Reliably day-after-day. ~13.5psi. Some are running higher boost, but not without reinforcing the TM. iNVAR
1) Check for TMIC leak. While you have the the TMIC removed, do 2) Check under the TMIC for the T-fitting that may have popped off. This will result in you throwing a CEL and will limit your boost to wastegate pressure. 3) Post a LearningView. Search to figure out how.
fahr_side
Reliably day-after-day. ~13.5psi. Some are running higher boost, but not without reinforcing the TM. 16.5psi from almost new to one year old and two years at 18~20psi, stock IC no kludging. Moved on to a Spearco now but had no issues with the stocker. leggyman17
The T fitting popped off at the TB..replaced one line with a smaller size line so now it doesnt pop off under boost!. TMIC is OK but i want a better one just for my own sake..
