My not so great start in the Legacy GT world

Kind of in the same boat... Bought a 06 OBXT and within 500 miles this happened...

 

Also had low compression in #4

 

New plan

BNR 20G bought from Th3Franz

Racer X FMIC

Catless Aftermarket DP

STi Catless Uppipe

Fresh build W/ JP stock bore

OEM oil cooler

SS oil lines and catch can

PAR Straight cut 1st gear and upgraded 2-4 gears

:D :D :D

 

I don't see and bigger injectors there or fuel pump.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

Thanks man, if I can get the LGT going she will get the v8 and 6 speed that she deserves...

 

and nice bike! I prefer hard tails myself (love climbing)!

 

Ohh I love climbing too! Ride rigid bikes too, "hardtail" and "hardfront".....

 

Not in my experience. Total timing is tied to load and rpm. Increasing airflow increases load and that will lower timing

 

I forgot these are AFM cars.:coffee:. I much prefer MAP style setup, but for some reason manufacturers like airflow sensors.

 

I was eluding that the tdo4 will be at a positive pressure reading (more airflow) at an rpm that the vf40 wasn't capable of. There is something there, fueling number wise, in the stock map but it has never been touched. But anyway the stock map seems likes it's kind of poop anyway.

 

And on a side note. If you listen to the Pharcyde, judging by your screen name, you are a cool cat.
