subaruguy509
My driver side automatic seat belt will not move. I have no clue what I am looking for and would like to fix it if it isn't too much. Any ideas on what I need to look at?
Legacy Wagon
Is it stuck in the front side or the back?

Legacy Wagon
I can think of one fix that I've been using for years. Leave it You could fix it, but at least it's stuck in the right position. Those automatic seatbelts always annoyed me anyway.

USLiberty
Yeah they're probably the worst idea in the whole car but they keep you from forgetting about wearing a seatbelt. They pull you over for not wearing them now. I would love to get the Canadian manual belts. The car I bought had a broken one also but I swapped it out with my totalled donor car. Not the easiestor quickest task to do in a Junkyard.
subaruguy509
Ya, the good thing is that it is stuck in the back position. I don't mind pulling the belt up manually. It is a lower priority on the list of small things, but still one thing that I would like to fix eventually.
Legacy Wagon
Shoot, I've been doing that for so long that I ended up doing that in my newer Legacy that has rails that work. I dont even think about it anymore.
poonhandler
My driver side will work sometimes and then be stuck sometimes either up front or in the back by the sea. My passenger side on the other hand is stuck a few inches from the back of the seat and the actual cable is hanging out of the rail now. Would love to switch to manual belts. Didn't know the caanadian models came with manual belts??
Legacy Wagon
Wow. And yeah, but they're not cheap. Not too bad, but not cheap by any means.
