Patagonian GT's upgrades - Round 3

Recommended Posts

100% improvement in feel. It seems like the brakes work 'right now' vs. getting half-way into the pedal before they bite. I am having to re-learn brake points, as I am stopping too soon now. ;)

That's great news for the braking improvement. The pads and lines will be my next mod.

Was it hard to bleed the system after the install? Did you use a power bleeder?

I used my credit card. I had it in the shop for the up-pipe install and the guys took care of me. I was planning to do everything but the UP/DP myself, but they made me a deal to do everything since I would drop the car there for the day.

cool are they still the stock rotors or upgrades, cause I was think of ordering some slotted rotors for mine while I'm at it.

stock rotors. I am not sure you would see any improvements on a normal vented rotor upgrade (unless the car will see track time). Now, going to a lightened rotor like Ion sells might make a difference.

Adam - no auto-x for me (yet). It's purely for backroad fun...once the STi springs and new wheels go on, I hope to be done for a long time. I ran against a Carrera C4S this morning on the way to work and he had to work hard to pull away (long straight road). ;)
