asymetrical tire wear

Recommended Posts

I agree with the bad alignment idea.

Have it checked. As a rule these cars are pretty good with even tire wear as long as you rotate the tires. Which is something your center diff will thank you for.

You want to keep even tire diameter.

Or you take a lot of left hand corners very very hard.

Some one care to explain this to me in deeper detail, or the reason why this happens to the passenger side when taking hard left hand turns?

*edit*

Could the wear also be due to uneven weight distribution? i.e. gold plates on the passenger seat and back seat passenger side or other large heavy objects on the passenger side of the car?

But I agree with the alignment. Especially if he was sliding around on the snow through the winter and accidentally slammed into a curb.
