Mega Users seabass07 Posted May 13, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted May 13, 2012 Require mastery of high performance driving on variable surfaces for drivers license exams. Continue to raise the bar until there is at least a 40% washout rate on the first try. So in other words, do what finland does? Sounds good to me! Learjet45
So in regards to all the stuff about solar panels and crap that quickly became tl;dr: We talked about something like that in my AP Enviro class this year. Except, it was scaled down to a size big enough to power all of America. You could build a solar panel big enough in the desert in Arizona. Literally, the only real problem with such an idea is that the technology is still so expensive that it would cost more to build that you could possibly imagine. More money than the government takes in from taxes in a year (obviously also before account for any spending) if I recall correctly. And I mean, power companies would b*tch about not making money anymore if you could provide all of America with free electricity.
