mumblinaviator
I'll second what Tehnation said about aiming for something. Set a goal. Say "I want to build a proper Stage 2 car" ... Then research what's needed to do that safely and within your budget. I'd HIGHLY recommend saving the money you'd spend on the AP (as others have said) and buy UP/DP/cable and a tune, and you're set. If it's still not the Beast you want it to be, then make a new goal: "Stage 3", and repeat the process until you're happy or you run out of money. I'm two months from being a fully tuned Stage 3 with fuel mods and FMIC... which is almost a full year beyond my original estimated date. Why? I learned I was doing some things wrong, and had some common misconceptions that was easily fixed by (months of) reading. Good luck buddy, you WILL find plenty of very useful help here, just as long as they know you've done due diligence first.
