I Donated broknindarkagain Posted November 12, 2011 I Donated Share Posted November 12, 2011 Yes there is a fuse for it under the dash. I don't remember what one it is..... The fuse box is close to where your left foot sits while your driving. You have to lay on your back to be able to see it. I don't remember what fuse in the box it is. Just pull them out one at a time and check each one. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Kennyfvholla
Check the wiring behind the unit before you declare the unit dead. A buddy of mine recently put a pioneer in and he was having this problem of it working one day and not the next and when I took it out it was because the ground connection was bad. chico_192
alright thanks i'll have to check it all out again, mine is also a pioneer, yeah exactly because at some points it was working when i took it out and others it didn't have any power
stevenva
The radio has 2 power wires, Switched 12V and constant 12V (keeps station presets-clock). Both must work for the radio to operate. The fuse labled radio is for the switched (red wire), the fuse for the power mirrors also powers the radios constant (yellow wire). It's kinda rare for a radio to blow a fuse though. What are you using for a ground? Are you using some plastic mounting kit (bad) or are you using the (proper) factory steel, side ISO brackets? If it's the plastic kit option, are you just relying on the antennas' ground shield to get your ground?
