Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept

Recommended Posts

well THIS is interesting. Personally, I just can't like the 5th gen. But if the 6th gen leggy follows this design without getting too dumbed down for production and keeps its turbo, I would definitely consider replacing my 4th gen in a couple of years.

It'll never happen, but it'd be interesting for sure.

Well, I understand that subie production cars tend not to follow their concept versions too closely (see current legacy and impreza vs. their respective concept versions). Even so, this design language in a very general way is, IMHO, muuuuuuch better than the 5th gen leggy.

While it's really cool looking...the head room and visibility probably suck. I can't see the stodgy and safe subaru building a car like that. Another thing I don't like is that it reminds me of the deceased Dodge Magnum.

Subaru seems to have a love-affair with Camaro-esque rear fenders, no? First the BRZ, now the ATC?

BRZ:

maybe it'll just be 2009 subaru hybrid tourer conept redux and become nothing at all.

Well hopefully this is a redux of the tourer and closer to a production model

Looks very nice but somehow Subaru will take all the ugly parts of the concept and put that into the production car.
