Kirpeknots
I had to go to the hospital for a jaw correction. I brought my father in law so he could drive on the way back. Regrettably we had an accident on the way back. No one was hurt. We took out a Ford Focus. Damage to my Legacy: - Front fender - Front door - Rear door - Suspension left front - B-Pillar - Side skirt - Deformed floorpan - Seat rails - Seat airbag - Side airbag - Knee airbag - Windshield - Arm rest Pics: http://roy.kirpestein.nl/content/Algemeen/Legacy%20Wagon/IMGP2102SM.JPG http://roy.kirpestein.nl/content/Algemeen/Legacy%20Wagon/IMGP2100SM.JPG http://roy.kirpestein.nl/content/Algemeen/Legacy%20Wagon/IMGP2103SM.JPG I hope it's not a writeoff. I just got new tyres and have ordered new OZ ultraleleggera's. It would be a pitty when I got these new wheels but no car to mount them on. What do you think. Writeoff or a repairable? The Legacy is from 2009 and has 75K km's on it.
SUPERBU
Wow glad you are ok. That looks like one hell of a hit. I bet the Focus was pretty messed up. If you look closely I think your knee took out the trim around the radio. If I had to guess I would say totalled. (I'm no expert) At first glance it looks like a couple of door skins and some glass but.... You have a lot posted above thats damaged and I'm sure there is more you can't see. The number of blown air-bags alone is big $$. The fact that the floor buckled says it was a big hit. Good luck and glad you two are ok.

RJS5689
Glad to hear you're okay. That looks like it'll be totaled. I certainly wouldn't want to drive it after a repair, either.

Kirpeknots
I hope it'll get repaired. I have confidence in the repair centers. They are professionals and know what to do. So if they can fix it I'll be happy with it. When it's a write off..... I'll probably get a banger and drive that for a wile.

captainobvious
I guessing Totaled. Airbags arent cheap and then you have to replace all teh sensors that go along with it, not to mention the parts you dont see. Be glad your ok.
contractkiller
anytime airbags go off they will total it. sorry What?! Not true. Airbags go off in accidents where there is minimal damage. Ive personally been in 2 accidents with airbag deployments and both cars were repaired and are still on the road today. what did u mean when you said. it felt like i was driving a civic? did u mean the car felt like it was more dependable and it was getting better mpg's? Roke
Losing the car you're proud of hurts, but I'm glad you're alive and healthy enough to drive another one. :-) Did your corrected jaw receive any extra damage? Hopefully not.
