LegacyOutback96
Hello everyone. Quick question. What is the size of the the screw needed to separate the brake rotor from the hub. Thanks.
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 21, 2011 I Donated Share Posted September 21, 2011 M10x1.25 I think Do you have a decent hammer? You can hit the hub of the rotor between the lugs to knock it loose -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." DrewBG5
I could be wrong but i think the bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket can be used for that.
DrewBG5
And make sure you have the parking brake off for the rears.
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 22, 2011 I Donated Share Posted September 22, 2011 Yeah you're way wrong. The machine bracket bolts are big. The holes in the rotors are small. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." DrewBG5
Yeah you're way wrong. The machine bracket bolts are big. The holes in the rotors are small. Not wrong at all, just used them today.
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 26, 2011 I Donated Share Posted September 26, 2011 Are you talking about the bolt that uses a 12,13,or 14mm on them? Those are not the machine bracket bolts. Those are the slider pin bolts. The bracket bolts have a 17mm head on them and are about as thick as the lug nuts. I understand what you're saying now and very well might be right, you just have names mixed up -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 26, 2011 I Donated Share Posted September 26, 2011 No not at all lol. I seriously thought you were talking about the machine bracket bolts....the 17mm ones....But like I said, I didn't read what you said right. Maybe I should take my time reading things instead of just scanning through them lol -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
