alaskajoel Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 So I'm trying to find a new or rebuilt rear axle for my 5mt 2005 LGT. I thought I found one, but turns out it's a front not a rear. Every auto store I've called (NAPA, auto zone, pep boys) say they carry front axles, but not rear axles. The exception has been O'Reilly, and they carry rear axles, but for the 5eat only. The Cardone website specifies that they make reman. or new front axles, and reman rear axles for the 5eat only. Where can I find a rear axle for a 5mt? Max Capacity Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 Call these guys https://www.autopartintl.com/contact.htm They seem to be the place that most of the local auto parts stores go to get there parts. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
