WRX rims are cheap and a good way to gain more traction.

@ Baddog: I'm usually not a fan of those Legacy's, but man...that one looks nice. I dont know if it's the headlights, the color or the front bumper, but man...that thing looks sweet!

The EA82...is that the Loyale or the GL or something? Maybe it was the Brat...either way, cool stuff. Wal-Mart basket?

I'm pretty jealous of that black interior by the way.

If you lower it your off-roading days will be over. Is yours a 92-94? I cant really tell from the pictures. The steering wheel looks like it may be the newer style though. If I were gonna put in a wheel I'd put the same one I did in my RS. It's the 98 22b/STi wheel. Pretty sure it'd be a direct swap into one of these. I'd like to put one in mine, but it may look funny with a gray interior. The WRX seats and pedals would be nice, though. Some 05's would look awesome in there.

Question...is yours ABS? If not...how did the WRX caliper swap work out for you? Mine feels like it has a lot more pedal travel.

Yeah its a 93 the trans parts are from my old GL-10. After i lower it i will get some ob struts and 15 or 16 inch wheels for offroading. All the wrx parts came from a 02 that i parted out. Wish i still had the drive drain. Mine isn't ABS but my brakes feel fine.

I think I need a bigger master cylinder then. Mine feels kinda weak.

@ Weight: Depends. I just happened to find mine on Craigslist. 2 with tires, 2 without. They were already painted black so they were cheaper. I ended up getting all 4 rims for $120 I think it was. It's not uncommon for them to be around $150-200 a set if you're patient.

Here's a set of 04's for $150

I would suggest buying the rims and waiting til you need new tires and throwing tires on the 16" rims instead. I dont remember tires being that much more expensive for the 16's than the 14's.

here it is, finaly got around to taking some pics.

City: Port Byron,Illinois

Age: 31

How long I've had my Legacy: about a month.

Job: stay at home daddy.

Price: $600

Miles: 210,xxx

Repairs: clutch replaced, new pads on bad rotors x4, headlight lens "de-yellowing", rewired headlight, unhooked the green "cel" jumper so it would quit blinking at me. oh and regapped sparkplugs cause the were WAY off.

Repairs to come: all new pads, rotors and hardware, new tires, alignment(and any other repairs along the way), trackdown n fix the P/S leak, and last but not least hope my 5mt is leaking from somewere other than the bottom were the 2 case halves meet.

Mods: Bone freaking stock! Im pretty sure this car sat for a few years before i got a hold of it. the guy i bought it off of was gonna run it in a demo derby but decided he liked it too much. he said he bought it off some drunk lady who got her 2nd DUI. The title was still in her name and dated from about a year ago. so we will see how these repairs go and then worry about making it a lil more fun.
