f1anatic Posted August 13, 2011 Share Posted August 13, 2011 I attempted to replace my HID bulbs today since they have recently faded. The new bulbs were purchased to match my existing ddm kit. The wires on the car are red and white, with red being the positive and white being negative. I know I got the wiring right but when I plugged them in and tested no lights came on. And I lost both sides low and high beams. I checked the fuses both for the hid kit and the headlights inside the car but since I have no high beams either I guess I can only blame the relays. Which means 50 bucks. Is that a fair and accurate assumption? Or should I assume I burned all 4 in one shot even though my high beams were off when I tried to turn on the lights.
