gilbert.c
Thanks L10, right now is evening, the sun just set and now we use headlights to head home (7.00pm or 19.00Hrs) so its good evening here. Will compare the two covers and may come out with some of them correctly - hopefully so. thanks and there is no hurry to this for the car is moving, so have a good day translating Jap. I thought of using google translate, but cannot type them either.
Liberty10
I've posted a request on a few other sites and will phone the auto wrecker later on. We'll get this figured out - it just became a mission.. lol G'night
Liberty10
Gilbert, here's some information from a helpful fellow on the Legacy Central forum ("Legacy777"): These may help, but they're for the US Legacy. http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... ns/118.jpg http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... ns/119.jpg Other option is to download the electrical section of the overseas Liberty manual. It won't necessarily have a fuse box diagram, but will give you info on the specific fuse circuits/fuse numbers and you could then try and tie that back to the diagrams I posted for the fuse boxes and match the numbers. http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/s ... tion_6.zip
gilbert.c
Thanks L10, will go through this and i just think it would be successful, would give you a report tomorrow, thanks and have good day.
Liberty10
You're very welcome. Let me know if we need to continue the search!
gilbert.c
Matched the numbers and the fuse ratings, we can stop the search now, I appreciate all effort and do not have to check all the fuses when one thing fails.
Liberty10
Oh, that's wonderful news! I'm glad
Legacy Wagon
Hey, that's awesome! I'm glad they were the same. I figured yours would have a bunch of different options than the US one.
gilbert.c
Thanks L10 for making it work out, and to LW it is exact apart from fuse no4 which is blank to the manual, but has a 15A fuse on this model. I will simply pull the fuse out and see what does not work. one is not a problem handling.
Legacy Wagon
Haha! Well let me know what it is! I'm interested. It's probably an option like headlight leveling or something. Not sure how much they did on the Legacy's over there.
gilbert.c
Haha! Well let me know what it is! I'm interested. It's probably an option like headlight leveling or something. Not sure how much they did on the Legacy's over there. Removed the fuse no.4 15A and the only thing that doesnt work without it are the two lights below the Headlights, almost on the road. front fog lights or whatever they are called.(see attachment)
Legacy Wagon
Yep. Those are fog lights. Are they stock? You should try cleaning them up with something. They'll give off a much better light output.
gilbert.c
I found them on the car, and would think they came with the car. Hahaha that was at night and had just come from a 20km. rainy drive and one km muddy stretch.
Liberty10
That headlight polish product is supposed to be quite good. It's on "the list" of things I want to try for the car, too.
Legacy Wagon
Gilbert: I want pictures of this road haha Liberty: It's definitely worth it if you have a drill. So guys...how are the off-road roads where you live?
Liberty10
I don't have a drill, but my brother said he used a spray-on product and it gave great results. You'd probably find that our main highways are more "off road" than your forest roads.. lol.. Lots of logging roads here, so yeah, you'd be in heaven. gilbert.c
Will give you the road samples tomorrow, lol hope I remember to carry a camera as I go!!! will try the cleaner on the fog lights at a convenient time, the headlights are still very reflective, having been replaced earlier, can see quite a distance at night. Legacy Wagon
Lib: Spray on? I'd be interested to know what that one is Sounds like it...man...they have a few off-road logging sites here, but not many. Gil: Awesome! It's not a big deal if you dont, but it'd be cool Man, are they glass or plastic?
Liberty10
LW: Kind of like this product - http://tinyurl.com/3mthwmx I haven't tried one yet, but I'll ask my brother what brand he used. I prefer to have a recommendation before I purchase, whenever possible, as it reduces the chance of buying something that's useless.
Legacy Wagon
I'd be blown away if that stuff worked! Let me know if you end up using it.
Liberty10
I wrote to my brother last night, asked if he could let me know exactly what product he used. So he replies, "Oh, I never used the stuff myself, just saw it on an infomercial".. LOL... Men.. (and brothers!)
