northboundtrain
Hello to everyone, I'm getting ready to replace the clutch on my wife's '94 Legacy. I've done a few clutch jobs, but I've never worked on a Subaru before. Any advice regarding the particulars of this job would be greatly appreciated. In addition to replacing the clutch, I was planning on having the flywheel turned and replacing any seals I can get to easily. Anything else I should do? Are the flywheel bolts a one-time-use item, or can they be reused? Thanks

agctr
G'Day and Welcome to the Forum..... Do you have a copy of the Original Owner's Manual. I would have a look at this and see what it states. Not one to get my hands dirty as I leave that up to the Dealership BUT Im sure they wouldnt mind pointing u in the right direction if you get stuck with the new install. All the best. Ada///M. rao
Make sure you have drift punches to remove the roll pins from the front axles. Otherwise it is pretty typical. People do re-use the flywheel bolts, but they are cheap enough to replace and make sure you use a new throw out bearing.
