be sweet if when i pull the heads and i find a semiclosed deck block. but im def planning on lowing the compression in this thing, i think brok may be onto something. these motors on our cars are weak..becasue the CR is 10.5:1. lower it to 8 something and i bet these blocks are not bad at all. his ej20k has open deck design too. and has ran 18lbs before.

Actually I635 runs East and West in Dallas. Central expressway 75 and I35 run north and south in Dallas. It's where I'm at.

Where 635 connects to 20, its going North and South....then turns to the west so it goes East and West. 635 wraps around the North and East sides of Dallas.

is this for real? looks like all he has is EJ257 rods, Mahle 99.5mm forged 2618 alloy pistons, Clevite main and rod bearings, shimmed 10mm oil pump, Cometic 0.040" 1mm head gaskets and gave him a 8.78:1 CR. EJ25D block is not as bad as we sought

^ While technically you are correct by the time 635 connects to 20 you really are not in Dallas county anymore. But, in the DFW area....pure boon dogs and BFE. I'm no where near 20. I'm smack dab in the middle of 75 and 35 and very south of the 635 junction (called the big 5 if I'm right). But, you are right....in a way.
