Aussie in USA
G'day everyone. Decided that i should ditch my stock bent factory wheels. Came across HD cool down rims at town fair tire today. Searching but unsure if anyone has a set on a car. I placed the rim next to the car, but its still hard to imagine it. Anyone running a set? gholman12
Looks a bit chromey for the standard crowd here. Not a fan of the rivets all the way around myself...
MrHellrais3R
Eeek kinda too chrome and gaudy for me. Not into big shinny rims. All about application.
LosAngelesLGT
Woof. Who let the dogs out? If you are into chrome I guess but wow thats a bad match IMO. Then again, I tend to follow the wheel trend in the community. We looked in the RBP thread (my LGT color) and saw what everyone else was running and found what I liked best, then got that. IDRVSLO
I will not judge until I see them on the car, I hope it turns out nice! [
Max Capacity
The rivets must be hard to clean the brake dust out of them. IMO don't do it. You can get your rims straightened. There should be a place close to you. Do a web search for fixing bent wheels or something like that. I had one of the Spec B wheels straighten, $85.00 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. RJS5689
I'll be blunt -- those original wheels belong on the Hondas I see in the BX (that's the Bronx for you non-tristaters .) The ones you "settled" on are quite a good match for the LGT!
bmx045
i think these should be called HD bonerdown wheels.
LosAngelesLGT
Black LGT + bronze sparc0 = Good call OP. Glad you came to your sences. I think you will be plesantly suprised at how wonderful they look even if somewhat understated next to all that chrome.

Aussie in USA
Would love to lower it, but in this part of massachusetts we have potholes like craters on the moon. Already thinking the low profiles may be a bad choice, spend a lot of time zig zagging down the road dodging potholes.
