sashadg1 Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Okay done 3.5 hours, what a biatch it is having to do things twice. Catalyst, that stuff is perfect dropped right in place. The most time i spent was scrapping the old crap mixed with silicone out. Some of the silicone was still wet. Before I put it back together I heat each piece up to 180 degrees and ran my heat gun along both edges. When I clamped them down it went together like butter. The original post should be edited not to use All Weather Proof sealer that was a major mistake not to mention doing it in the rain like a dumb ass. The silicone tube even said I was a dumb ass, not to get wet for 36 hours. It was wet 3 min after installing the lights then stayed that way for 2 days straight.
