GEE-OTTO
Never thought of it like that but it's spot on Thanks Yeah man the 3.0R is a classy beast that exhaust note must be SEX to the ear around 4500-5k RPM, sigh if only the US got the 5MT or 6MT versions Enjoy the ride! mikystyle
PN for the cans? Straight bolt on? Sound is excellent btw! I actually bough them from a member on here so no part # but I think they are for a gt and yeah, straight bolt on. The drivers side didnt line up quite right so I tweaked one of the hangers and it's perfect. Thanks

GEE-OTTO
The Perrin cans are discontinued so you wont be able to buy them new only hope is for a user to sell them off
bmx045
Go to a reputable exhaust shop and have them muffler delete and weld tips in their place- it's not as loud as you think, I did this on my GT and it sounded GREAT, I got a magnaflow cbe and this is louder than stock (- mufflers), if you go catless it will sound even better. legacyshawn
Bought a used perrin axle back for my 3.0R and it suffers from the plagued driver side misaligned flange. Tried readjusting the flange with no avail; the tip pushes up against the bumper cutout whenever the flange bolts are tightened up. Will be checking some local exhaust shops to see what they can do.. should be a cheap easy fix.
98legwag
Should be able to heat up and bend the hangers. My friend and I did that when we welded an oem wrx axle back on my 98 Legacy.
legacyshawn
I don't think that would do anything. Even without any of the hangers attached the tips are pushed up against the bumper. I fear that the left Perrin muffler will crack my y-pipe. Can i just heat the pipe and bend it down about 3 degrees?
98legwag
You could probably do that.
