06legacy2.5
so headers for an older impreza rs will fit up to a 06 legacy 2.5i with the exception of the re-routing, correct? what about o2 sensor wire extensions?

They will fit but with http://www.Rallisportracing.com making bolt on headers for the 06-09 2.5i there is no need to deal with all that
09anderson
Is it possible to not cut the header and make an extension of the cbe to meet the spot for the uppipe? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2 Hey there, so first off are you planning to turbo your 2.5i ? I imagine you aren't at the level yet so you may be confused slightly, or do you have a turbo kit on your car? In stock form we dont have an up pipe but we have a mid-pipe which terminates at the same point as a Turbo Legacy's lower section down pipe (06-09). Our mid pipe/cat-pipe is fairly free flowing but if you are looking to free up flow you could simply have a straight pipe built to replace it. jhow257415
So this is the the OEM manifold-cat (UEL) from a 2005 Legacy 2.5i! I have an 07' with a newer (EL) version that has a 2 inch hairline crack in the flexion area (flex piping/ accordion section). Does anyone know if I can buy this 2005 part and install onto (direct bolt on) my 2007?

No, that is a stock 06+ N/A manifold, more specifically my 2008 Legacy 2.5i The cheapest place to score one is in NASIOC or RS25.com as those impreza guys tend to run more UEL setup and ditch their stock parts
jhow257415
Oh cool, that's ur manifold! Kinda ironic, caption from ur picture (the source that I found) called them the 05 manifold, that doesn't sound correct based on ur findings, so will the 05 (whatever it looks like) bolt right up to the 07? BTW, Thanks Gee-Otto for the help!

No it wont bolt up to your car, you need 06-09 Non Turbo stock exhaust manifold like the one you had pictured
