cuylerjr
I have an 05 Legacy 2.5i and am looking for some new brakes for it. I was wondering if 05 Legacy GT parts fit on my 2.5i?
N.sane
LGT brakes and 2.5i brakes are different. Are you planning on replacing with 2.5i parts or a swap to the LGT brakes?
cuylerjr
I want to swap to LGT brakes. Is it easy to do?

N.sane
You will need: - LGT calipers - LGT caliper brackets (usually attached to the caliper already) - LGT brakes lines (usually attached also) - LGT rotors - LGT brake pads Everything is bolt-on. However, you might have to bend the dust plate back a little bit to prevent it from scratching the larger rotors. It happened in one corner after I swapped them onto my car. You may also need 17" wheels to clear the front brakes.
cuylerjr
Alright. Would they work with 18'' Wheels? And where would I be able to buy brand new calipers?
N.sane
Yea, I meant to say you need at least 17" wheels, so 18" wheels are fine. You can buy new calipers from the stealership or maybe rockauto.com. I got mine used. You may come across them in the Members Classifieds from time to time.
