the wife was doing some online searches with my girls when some foul language popped up, thoroughly shocking my 12 and 9 year daughters.

"dad!! you won't believe what they put on the internet these days. there were cuss words...."

so i did what any concerned father would do, i sent them upstairs and proceeded to enlighten my wife on the dangers of search engines on the web.

needless to say, when she clicked on the image search for her query "lemon party", hilarity ensued.

and no, you should never search for it yourself. ever. ever-never.

don't even think about it. seriously.

I may have been on the net for too long... Hardly nothing surprises me these days when it comes with what people can come up with.

Let's say that it's not the worst that you can come up with when you have safe search disabled. If you for some reason is looking for "Al Gore" or "Gore Vidal" make sure that you have Safe Search enabled and also avoid using just "Gore" as a term.

So why was the wife searching lemon party with the kids?

she was searching something about lemons in general originally. she had no idea what a lemon party was. it was really priceless, as she moved in closed to the laptop to check out the thumbnails and then BAM!!! i hadn't laughed that hard in quite some time....:lol:

"ok type 'lemon party' into the google search engine, then click "I'm feeling lucky." Guaranteed, you will not longer feel lucky. "
