Soda Popinski
Replacing the hoses in the engine bay (all of them) with silicon hoses... is it worth it? Aesthetically I would love to have it all blue to match my cobb stuff, but at what expense?
WhiskeyTango
The expense is the cost of the hose... They are shinny and work the same as the ones you have.
Soda Popinski
I understand that. Aesthetically I would love it if the engine bay was blue, but it's purely looks. I guess I'm asking what the "hastle factor" is for replacing those hoses. a) is it worth it (I know it's in the eye of the beholder but...) b) is it rice and c) how costly is it to do the entire bay
WhiskeyTango
a) if you are already changing coolant its a few more clamps. b) do you care what others think? c) http://www.cobb.com
DocHolladay23
...c) www.cobbtuning.com Fixed. OP I would say it just depends on how comfortable you are with changing them out. I'm going for some blue radiator hoses myself for the bling factor, IMO it's purely for looks and a fun little weekend project to keep me busy. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] You want stickers? Hit me up here!!! snow05gtRI
not totally sure on this, but i feel like i've read you need to replace hoses with the same exact internal/external diameter hoses (for VAC hoses anyway). prob worth a look around. my guess is some of them will be hard to reach.
