I Donated broknindarkagain Posted May 25, 2011 I Donated Share Posted May 25, 2011 Sounds like the threads are stripped out. Did you do the spark plugs while the engine was warm? Its an aluminum head and the threads will get damaged if you take out the spark plugs are tried to be removed when its warm. You're going to have to take off the head and send it to the machine shop -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." kaz98gt
Yeah, the threads sound gone on that one. I had the same problem with the timing tensioner bolt on mine; it would turn, but it wouldn't come out. Your best bet is to pop the head and get at it there, but if it's barely driveable then is it worth it? Are the problems isolated to just the engine, or is it the car in general? I Donated broknindarkagain Posted May 25, 2011 I Donated Share Posted May 25, 2011 Having a spark plug that isn't seated right can cause the engine to run pretty poorly. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
