Nexmo.co Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 Hello and thank you! Went to the bank yesterday and started processing the paperwork, hoping things work out. Its OBP limited with tan interior, factory momo knob and wheel inside (I'm not sure how standard that is that is) its got 82k on it and is bone stock. I'm going to be signing for 11k. Price may sound a little high to most people but being up here in Alaska you dont have much of a choice. One thing about this is its got a cracked front bumper, I have a couple options, 1. i can pay for a factory replacement for 50$ or i can use this as an excuse to go JDM from the start, which i would love to do. I've done a bit of forum searching and all of the "Useful" posts seem dead or I'm just doing it wrong. If i don't go JDM now i probably will next summer. I'm looking for Opinions, Information, Suggestions, Advice, and any kind of help you would be able to give me in finding the cheapest way to go about this. If anyone has a used jdm bumper laying around for sale id be happy to buy one, sorry if I've over looked it if its posted somewhere. in time I'd also like to find the side spats front and rear. the best looking legacy i've seen had the K2 kit and factory spats. or just a plain spec B bumper gets me pretty happy too. I just would like to not have the nose sticking out so far, you know? I've also been looking around for a more or less factory looking boost gauge set up. Anything helps! Wish me luck at the bank! Less and less guys are in the import/ distribution nowadays. They are hard to find unless you pick one up from a guy who is parting his car out. Good call on the spats too. Very JDM. Very clean. Nexmo.co Posted May 18, 2011 Author Share Posted May 18, 2011 ...besides the wheels Wheeles were mine already, stock rims had worse rubber, I had the 17s off my 03 legacy sittin arround, threw them on right after i left the bank. havnt gotten any sleep since saturday! gona sleep good today though -_- zZ So, for the price i expected something hidden and im pretty sure im having issues alredy with the drivetrain, When coasting in any gear/speed i get a pretty promenant whine, ive done some searching around and it seems that nomatter what someone says they think their problem is, people tell them its a wheel baring or hub or something stupid. Its not in the wheels for me. Very smoothe and quiet when accelerating, doesnt change when turning or anything, all CV's seem good visibly and dont have play by hand, everything seems tight from underneath so far without pulling anything apart.
